These "Ice Cream Sundaes" are not what they seem to be. Inside the waffle bowl there is a round of cake, topped with strawberry Simply Fruit, then a round of brownie. The "ice Cream" is actually icing made with extra confectioners sugar to make it thick, scooped out and topped with Wilton candy melts (for the hot fudge look), sprinkles and a cherry put on while the choc is still soft. These were birthday cakes for two of my friends. Had the waitress bring them out and tell them it was their new birthday dessert. When they dug in I had another "gotcha" moment. It is getting harder and harder to come up with something special.
